How to add certificate in Cisco Virtual Wireless Controller

1. Check if the certificate is for the webadmin or webauth certificate.

2. SSH to Cisco vWLC mgmt IP.

3. Issue this command - note: this is an example for Tsuneishi!

configure certificate generate csr-webauth PH Cebu Balamban Tsuneishi IT tenshin-wifi.tsuneishi.com [email protected]

#After this command, you will see the CSR with the Begin and End Cert. For Example:

4. Copy the certificate request and paste it in certpanel csr - here is the website https://certpanel.com/ - login is in the vault.n2n.ph

look for teshin-wifi.tsuneishi.com

click on it and scroll down to the bottom

Click on issue new cert and then paste the csr generated in step 3

5. Validate the email and inform the client that it will be sent to this email [email protected]

6. When you have already the certificate from certpanel, download all the files. It will look like this.

7. Gather the needed certificates. Go to Plain Text Files folder and select open in notepad the CA Bundle.txt

8. Inside the CA bundle are root and intermediate CA's only so this is lacking the device cert itself. As you can see in step 7, We can see the device cert "tenshin-wifi_tsuneishi_com" open it and copy and paste to the Top part in CA bundle. So the idea will be like this!
